AFRICA
The work of the Foundation has been carried out mainly in Ethiopia, with a special focus on health, with the aim of improving the quality of health services in Addis Ababa. To achieve this, work has been carried out mainly from the St. Gabriel Health Center, where staff from 11 health centers in the area have been trained, and initiatives and programs have been launched and medical equipment has been purchased to try to reduce the maternal-infant mortality rate. These projects have had the support of “la Caixa” Foundation, Majadahonda City Hall and Alcalá de Henares City Hall.
Rural development has also been a priority in Ethiopia. In this way, the help of the Regional Government of Valencia has allowed to promote techniques and training in Oromiya to achieve sustainable agriculture, with an important gender focus. On the other hand, with the support of AUARA, work has been done on the construction of four sources in four rural communities of East Wellega, which guarantees access to drinking water and the quality of its population.

districts in the south of Sofala, has been the objective of the project developed in Mozambique, thanks to Canal Voluntarios.
Finally, support has continued for the Karibu Sana project, in Kenya, which aims to ensure quality education for children without resources in Kibera, the largest
slum in Nairobi. This project is mainly supported by private donations from companies and individuals, and in 2018 it has received funding from the Roviralta Foundation.
