ECONOmIC INFORmATION
The financial results of the Social Promotion Foundation for 2018 are framed in the Strategic Action Plan approved by the Board
of Trustees for the period 2017-2020.
Incoming resources
In 2018, the resources obtained through grants from public and private institu- tions and donations from individuals and companies amount to €5,347,625.02.
Regarding the origin of the funds, 66.41% corresponds to private resources, and 33.59% to public resources.
Resource allocation by areas of activity
During 2018, the resources applied in the form of expenditure and investments directly associated with the activities in fulfillment of purposes amounted to €4,204,668.97.
Some 44.27% of these have been allocated to development cooperation; 21.51%, to humanitarian aid, 21.74% to educational cultural activity; 1.18% volunteering; and 11.31% to education for development and awareness raising, and youth and women.
One more year, development cooperation, in which the Middle East is configured as a priority region for action, is the one that receives the greatest application of funds, given the extensive work experience of the Foundation in this area, which has consolidated it as a fundamental and structuring activity of his work.
Likewise, activities related to youth, especially women and their training, have been gaining prominence in recent years, to represent a specific area of activity, and consequently, receive a specific allocation of resources by the Foundation to its development.
