CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY
Social Promotion provides institutional and economic support to social initiatives that through their activities promote cultural, social and solidarity values, dialogue between cultures and the promotion of peace, paying special attention to the role of women, mainly young people, and the family in society.
In this way, during the year 2018, the Social Promotion aid has enabled the development of various activities promoted by the Abedul Youth Association, the Peñablanca Cultural Association, and Gara Cultural Benefit Association, in Spain; Mtü Balti Haridus-Ja Kultuuriühing at the Rävala Cultural Center, in Estonia; Maria Beatriz Lopes from Cunha, in Portugal; and Viešoji Įstaiga Visuomenės Kultūrinio Ugdymo Centras and Kultūros vystymo ir švietimo Viešioji Įstaiga (KVS), in Lithuania.
Also, the Foundation considers education as an essential element for people to be protagonists of their own development and to generate true social wealth. For this reason, it supports educational institutions and programs that encourage education at its different levels and access to it for people with limited resources.
In 2018, the Foundation has supported the university training programs of the Goroabe, Somosierra and Zurbarán colleges in Spain.
