The representative of FPSC in New York participated on the 6th and 7th of March in the UN’s High-level Event

Shirley Lemus, representative of the FPSC in New York, participated on 6th  and 7th  March in the High Profile “the Contributions of Women , the Young and Civil Society to the Post- 2015 Development Agenda”.

The event was chaired by Mr. Ban Ki -moon , Secretary General of the United Nations and by Mr. John W. Ashe , Chairman of the General Assembly.

The purpose of the meeting was to evaluate the participation of women, youth and marginalized groups of society. These are groups that are not represented enough and yet their involvement is essential to the fulfillment of the Development Agenda.

The priorities of the post-2015 development agenda are education, health ,governance ,peace and security.
