The city of Valencia was chosen to host the quarterly meeting of members of the Executive Committee of the Spanish Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation (RE-FAL) in January 2014.
On this occasion, members of the Executive Committee had to select the candidates to participate in the Taroudant Joint Action in April 2014. This event is organized by the national networks of the Anna Lindh Foundation in Morocco, Spain, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg and Tunisia, and aims to turn the Moroccan city of Taroudant into an artistic centre for one week. The power of art as a factor for social and intercultural exchange will be shown through conferences, talks, displays and performances.
As well as this subject, members of the Executive Committee analysed the candidacies of new organisations wishing to join the Network, and discussed the next activities of the Network in Spain.
The FPSC has been a member of the Executive Committee of the RE-FAL since 2011. On this occasion it was represented by Enric Roig Tió, Director of Humanitarian Aid, Education for Development and Awareness. Also present were Maria-Àngels Roque, representing IEMed, Neus Fábregas on behalf of Jarit-Asociación Civil, and Edward Miralles from the agency Interarts.
The Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) is an organisation made up of and financed by more than 40 Euro-Mediterranean countries; its aim is to bring people closer together as a way of promoting dialogue between cultures and respect for diversity.
