October 5 was the deadline to vote for the five members that would comprise the new Executive Committee of the Spanish network of the Anna Lindh Foundation.

Members of the new Committee have a term of one year, renewable for a second, and shall consist of the following five organizations:

AIPC Pandora(Madrid), Jarit Civil Association (Valencia),University Hall Strait (Algeciras), UNESCO Centre of Catalonia (Barcelona) and the Foundation for Social Promotion of Culture (Madrid).

The Executive Committee’s role is to advise the Coordinator in the process of acceptance and / or removal of new members to the network, ensuring the correct implementation of the resolutions passed by the network assembly, promoting the development of common projects and actions network level, and assist the Coordinator in all matters it deems appropriate and that directly affect the network.

The Spanish network of the Anna Lindh Foundation is currently composed of 124 organizations all over the territory of Spain. Its fields of work are diverse, encompassing areas such as development cooperation, intercultural dialogue, gender equality, youth, education, immigration, environment and media.

The FPSC is a member of the Spanish Network of the Euro-Mediterranean Anna Lindh Foundation for Dialogue between culturs. www.iemed.org
