Under the collaboration agreement reached by the FPSC and Fundación Virgen del Camino, on January 26 a family volunteering project of Las Tablas-Valverde scgool began in the residence of the street Collado de Tirobarra in Madrid.

This is an action designed to accompany residents, most of whom have some mental disability.

During one Saturday afternoon a month the school families and residents live together and participate in various activities.

This first occasion was attended by several families of the school.

The action gave the opportunity to all the volunteers, adults and children, and residents, to share their time in this period of coexistence, helping everyone to feel integrated in the group, and then attend the Mass held in the residence and refreshment.

The main feature of this activity is to promote voluntary action with focused attention on the needs of beneficiaries, shared between parents and children, which is a very powerful and beneficial to all family members.

The activity helps all participants, residents and volunteers, to create a unique living space above physical or mental limitations.
