Improving maternal and child health at the St. Gabriel health centre
The project aims to contribute to reducing the mortality of children under 5 years of age and maternal and to increase the number of babies born free of HIV. To this end, it is planned the provision of prenatal and postnatal quality programs, mother-to-child AIDS prevention programs (PMTCT), and comprehensive infant and newborn disease management (IMNCI) programs for children younger than 5 years.
The objective is to provide quality care in prenatal health, during childbirth and postnatal at the San Gabriel Health Centre; to treat with a comprehensive approach to children under 5; and train the patients of the centre and their companions in health matters.
