An Nawras, an initiative of the Lebanese organization PRODES, is a continuing education center located in Lebanon, which carries out training and support activities aimed at female university students, young professionals and mothers.

It offers training opportunities, inclusion of refugee women, family enrichment, social participation and leadership of women in Lebanon.

IMPULSE OF MICRO PROJECTS OF CITIZENSHIP AND SOLIDARITY INVOLVEMENT

The women who participate become PROMOTERS and protagonists of SOCIAL CHANGE in favor of populations with development potential, in order to contribute to the improvement of the region (U-Serve Project):

• Language school for refugees: University students dedicate their efforts to teach French and English to Iraqi refugees in Jounieh; for them it is a necessity once they arrive in the host countries.
• Educational activities for children in vulnerable situations.
• Social promotion activities in rural areas in summer.
• Collaboration with the municipalities in urban and ecological improvement projects.

In many regions of the world, women do not have access to decision-making and their ability to participate actively in society is diminished.
