Coinciding with the 5th anniversary of the war in Syria, María López de Haro, Head of Mission of FPSC in Jordan, participated in RNE_Radio 1’s programme “Esto me suena. Las tardes del ciudadano García” and in the programme “La Mañana, Fin de Semana” from Cadena Cope”, in order to explain the work of the Foundation with the most vulnerable population in the Syrian refugees camp of Za’atari: people with disabilities.
Also, the programme “La Mañana, Fin de Semana” from Cadena Cope broadcasted an interview with Rafael Peró, Head of Mission of FPSC in Lebanon, dealing with the work of the Foundation in relation to Syrian refugees in that country.
Last Saturday March 26th, were broadcasted in the special programme “Siria: cinco años de conflicto”, from Cadena SER, the interviews with Monsignor Audo, Chaldean Bishop of Aleppo (Syria) and Rabih El Chammay, Head of the National Mental Health Programme (NHMP) of the Ministry of Public Health of Lebanon. Both interviews took place within the framework of the Seminar organised by the Foundation last March 9th in Arab House: “Humanitarian Aid Effectiveness: New Humanitarian Actors in the Middle East”.
Since the beginning of the conflict in Syria in 2011, FPSC has started a very relevant humanitarian work in the countries being most affected by the war: Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. Its main goal is to improve the situation of those who are suffering.
