When natural disasters and armed conflicts happen, humanitarian aid becomes necessary to save lives, alleviate suffering and assure the dignity of those whose lives have been affected.

In these days, the Foundation honors the great work of our colleagues, volunteers, agencies and humanitarian organizations that work in emergency aid projects.

FPSC develops its activity mainly in humanitarian assistance in Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq with Syrian and Iraqis refugees. It is addressed to vulnerable groups as disabled people or in need and people with mental health treatment needs, through distribution of mobility aids, physiotherapy and rehabilitation treatments, and specific treatments carried out by medical teams composed of psychiatrists, physiologists and social workers.

More than five years after the beginning of Syrian conflict, the highest humanitarian drama happened since the Second World War, with millions of refugees in neighboring countries and internally displaced people inside the country, it is urgent the search for the end of the war by all the key actors involved and the maintenance of international committment in distribution of humanitarian assistance, guaranteeing also, humanitarian corridors which assure this action.

Some of the humanitarian aid projects of the foundation:

– To improve the living conditions and inclusion of Syrian refugees and most vulnerable Jordanians with disabilities in Mafraq Governorate, Za’atari and Azraq refugee camps

– Emergency aid to Syrian refugees and host population in Lebanon to improve mental health

– Emergency Assistance to People with Disabilities in Refugee Camps in Gaza to Ensure Protection of their Rights

–  Humanitarian assistance to Iraqis’ families at Virgin Mary camp in Baghdad.
