The Social Promotion of Culture Foundation today joint on the 20 of November the celebration of Universal Children’s Day.

This celebration remembers the signature on November 20th 1989 of the United Nations General Asembly in the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

This convention recognizes children as active social agents and owners of their own rights.

Since its inception, FPSC has always given priority to children as beneficiaries of its projects of social cooperation and promotion of effective development in areas where, due to a conflict or extreme poverty, there is a greater need.

We pay tribute to all children who are or have been beneficiaries of our projects, and thus, are the protagonists of the times in which they live.

FPSC throughout its career has worked on many projects that benefit children. Here we mention two agreements on cooperation development currently in force: the agreement to improve the quality of teaching in R. D. Congo and the agreement to improve the quality of primary and secondary education in Palestinian Territories.

Both cases correspond to the firm belief of the Foundation to consider education as the engine of change and development.

These agreements are cofinanced by the AECID.
