To mark the return to headquarters in Madrid Jumana Trad, Executive Committee Member of CEMOFPSC and Trustee of FPSC, FPSC’s office in Beirut has organized an informal meeting with our members and friends of Lebanon, some of them of organizations members of the READI Network. Lebanon is one of the first countries in which the Foundation developed its international cooperation projects for development.
Among those who came to say good bye to Jumana were Hyam Fakhoury, the Lebanese Ministry of Social Affairs; Nayla Moawad, of the Rene Moawad Foundation; Pierre Issa and Fady Moujaess, of Arcenciel; Ali Ezzeddine, of the Association for Rural Development; Maria Elena Gonzalez and Blanca Gutierrez, of the Promotion et Développement Social; Khoueiry Jocelyne of La Femme du Libanaise-31 Mai; Fady Hage, of the Center for Development, Democracy and Governance; and Marlene Helou, of the Collège de la Sagesse, Section Saint Jean.
Irene Cabrera, the AECI representative in Lebanon, who could not attend the reception due to prior commitments, wanted to meet privately with Jumana and the Head of Mission Beirut office to say goodbye.
The office also took this occasion to present our local partners and friends with the new FPSC office in Lebanon, many whom they do not know yet.
The evening passed very pleasantly, and there was an opportunity to review with one another each of the Foundation’s projects of the past, present and future.
